In honor of it almost being a year since I moved to Lake Tahoe, I thought I would write posts over the next few weeks covering this beautiful area. At this point, I can say that I am very confident about where the best coffee shops are in town! So whether you’re a local, looking for a new place to try, or a visitor hoping to get your caffeine fix, look no further. One of my favorite parts about the area that I live in is the abundance of cute coffee shops everywhere I explore.
DARK HORSE COFFEE
It’s pretty obvious just from the outside that the vibe of this place is awesome. Dark Horse is fun and quirky; it’s filled with house plants in every nook and cranny, has local art and stickers to buy, and always has the best music playing. This place doesn’t just look aesthetically pleasing. Dark Horse has my heart of my favorite latte, too.
ZURI COFFEE CO.
Zuri Coffee Company knows how to make a great latte. If you are visiting in the fall and are a pumpkin spice lover, do not hesitate to order this one! It’s the best and they actually don’t make it overly sweet like most places do.
DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF
Do yourself a favor and get an iced lavender oat milk latte from this place. Anytime I am adventuring over to the East Shore of Tahoe, I am sure to grab a latte to-go from here. Their coffee is tastes so rich and creamy–no bitterness at all!
COFFEE BAR
I always find myself ordering way more than a coffee here. Aside from almost always ordering an iced oat milk latte from here, I often have to get either their avocado toast or Gluten Free and Dairy Free banana chocolate chip muffin.
