Exploring Goldmyer Hot Springs

Bikini season is never over for me. When I can’t take a summer dip in the local lakes, I love nothing more than taking a winter dip in hot springs. As an avid skier and adventurer, I find multiple benefits to soaking, including relaxing sore muscles, boosting circulation, soothing my skin from the harsh winter conditions, and stress relief!

Recently, I made the trek to one of the most magical hot springs that I’ve ever experienced–Goldmyer Hotsprings, located in Washington. These springs require a reservation–so plan ahead. But there is an upside to this extra step–you get to enjoy the springs all to yourself!

Trekking to the springs was not an easy task–it rained and snowed the entire time, creating challenging trail conditions. Just about all of our gear was soaked! If it weren’t for how beautiful the turquoise river and lush greenery was along the  way, I would NOT have endured the six hours of travel to this Pacific Northwest Oasis.

Goldmyer features four hot springs (plus one cold pool if you’re feeling like living #strangerously ;). Given the chilled conditions that we anticipated on our hike back to the car, we decided to linger the longest in the hottest spring. The four springs feed into each other by way of small waterfalls. If I close my eyes, I can still hear the peaceful splashes of these falls.
