5 items you need to live more eco-friendly

Happy Sustainable Sunday!! Let’s face it–it’s hard to be perfect when it comes to living a more sustainable lifestyle. My rule of thumb is to slowly switch out products as they need to be replaced—with  a more eco-friendly sub. Here are five of my favorite products that I’ve been using this past month:

Biodegradable hair brushI’ve been using Wet Brush for years and only recently came across Wet Brush’s biodegradable hair brush. I’ve been using mine for a while now and notice no difference from the original plastic one! If you don’t have a wet brush yet, you should because it  saves my long, tangly hair.

Reusable Makeup removing pads are lifesavers! I typically go through multiple cotton pads a day with cleansing and removing the makeup off of my face—so these prevent a lot of unnecessary waste!

Stasher Reusable Bags are my fav! I started using these a year or two ago, and have slowly been collecting more and more of them. They come in all sorts of sizes and beautiful colors. The best part is I’ve found so many ways to use them besides just baggies for my snacks on the go. I wrote a whole blog post on all of the ways I use them here!

Beeswax food wrap is a great substitute for tin foil or saran wrap. It’s also nice for when you lose the lids for your Tupperware, lol! ALSO these wraps give you extra grip when you can’t open a jar with a tight lid on it!

A good to-go coffee cup. I have been using my Keep Cup for two years now and  just about every day and I love it! Not only has it lasted me so long, but it  looks super cute. It kind of reminds me of a nicer version of the classic iced-coffee cups that you get from  Starbs. P.S. the inside layer of this cup is glass, which makes it way better for you than the classic iced-coffee tumblers.
