Hi there! Nice to e-meet you. 🙂 I’m Shelby–an adventure content creator based out of Tahoe, California. Since I was 10, I had a dream of being a Youtuber and documenting my stories, but it wasn’t until I was 23. At the start of the pandemic, I lost all of my jobs after recently moving 3,000 miles across the country to Truckee, California. I had no family out here–only myself. To say it was a scary time was an understatement. It was at this moment, where life pushed me into so much discomfort, that I was able to face where I truly wanted to go in life. As soon as I surrendered, I was able to remember my true purposes and goals that I’ve had since I was a kid. 

Long story short: I had a dream of being a Youtuber and living in a vintage Volkswagon van along the coast of California since I was a kid. After hitting rock bottom, I turned inward to start working for what I truly wanted. After a couple of years, I’ve been able to work and manifest my life into something pretty damn close to what I dreamed of as a kid. I have a vintage camper that I am soon moving into with my boyfriend, I am based in California, and I am a full-time content creator. Little did I know I wouldn’t get started on Youtube, but instead a new app, TikTok. Now, I create on Instagram and TikTok full-time for work, and plan to continue to pursue my dream of being a Youtuber. As I prepare to move into the camper with my boyfriend, I will be documenting every step of the way. 

On all of my platforms, I aim to educate and inspire others–mostly through outdoor adventure. Between my skiing, skateboarding, camping, backpacking trips, and recent camper build, there’s a lot to talk about in the adventure realm! I also talk about life advice and the power of intuition. I truly do not believe I would be here if it weren’t for waking up and following my gut feelings on moving to California and downloading TikTok. I have my full story on my first ever recorded podcast, here. Given the curiosity of my job, I also share tips and details about content creation and other sources of income which have allowed me to work remote and have the freedom I’ve always dreamed of. I am currently building out an email list where I will be sharing weekly tips, and have page soon to come on my blog where I will have more posts, guides, workbooks, and even courses available.
